U.S. Route 27 (US 27) runs north–south in the U.S. state of Georgia near the western border (with Alabama). The whole route is Governor's Road Improvement Program (GRIP) corridor EDS-27, providing the bulk of the Tallahassee, Florida - Chattanooga, Tennessee corridor. All of US 27 in Georgia is designated State Route 1 and is also designated as the Martha Berry Highway

US 27 Bus. / SR 1 Bus. in Attapulgus, a short road across a town
[edit] Bainbridge business route
US 27 Bus. / SR 1 Bus. in Bainbridge, a route across town cosigned with US 84 Bus. and SR 38 Bus.. The highway is also cosigned with SR 97 and SR 309 on Dothan Road along the banks of the Flint River. The designation also runs along SR 253.

US 27 Alt. in Muscogee and Harris counties is cosigned with SR 85 while in Meriwether County the highway is briefly cosigned with SR 85 Alt. and SR 41. In Coweta County, this highway is cosigned with US 29/SR 14, and in Carroll County it is cosigned with SR 16 and SR 166.
