Gerakas (Greek: Γέρακας, previously known as Atmantzeli) is a community in the Xanthi prefecture of Greece. It is located 14 kilometers east of Stavroupolis and 14 kilometers northwest of Xanthi. In 1981, the population of Gerakas was around 631 inhabitants. In 1991, the population declined to around 47 inhabitants. The community consists of the settlements Gerakas, Isaia, Mega Evmoiro, Orestini and Pilima.
