Gibraltar Hardware is a maker of drumset and percussion hardware. It's most famed for making drumset frames and cages, but it also makes everything from hi-hat stands to drumset thrones. Various artists use Gibraltar hardware on their drums, including Lamb Of God's Chris Adler and Luis Conte.
Gibraltar percussion hardware is a proprietary product of Kaman Music, a large independent distributor of musical instruments and accessories. It was part of the company Kaman, which is also a manufacturer of aircraft structures and components and a distributor of parts and equipment to the North American industry. In early 2008, Kaman sold its musical interests to the Fender Musical Instruments Corporation.[1]
