Dr Gilbert Alexander Gabriel is a songwriter, film composer , producer and lecturer . He studied piano and clarinet at Dartington College of Arts and Goldsmiths University before forming the English folk rock trio called The Dream Academy which had the worldwide hit LIfe in a Northern Town. Since then he has been writing and producing music for film and television in England and Poland . He has also lectured on 'film and the soundtrack' in Cambridge as well as Liverpool and Cardiff University.His latest album features Kroke's violinist ( Nigel Kennedy and Peter Gabriel collaborater).
