Gilles Daniel Mbang Ondo (born 10 October 1985 in Libreville[1]) is a Gabonese football striker who plays for Nejmeh.


Ondo began his career for the youth team of Paris Saint-Germain F.C.. He signed then with AJ Auxerre. In the reserve team of AJ Auxerre, Ondo played 1 game. Later in July 2007 he signed for SC Eisenstadt in the Regionalliga Ost. Ondo played 13 games, and scored 1 goal for SC Eisenstadt. After just half a season in Austria, he signed in January 2008 to Landsbankadeild club UMF Grindavik in Iceland.

On 19 January 2011, he was presented by his new Norwegian club Stabæk Fotball, where he played for one season before he moved on to Sandnes Ulf. In January 2013 He sign for Nejmeh Beirut where he score 5 goals in 9 game after a short time spend for Lebanese team. Ondo sign for Al tawoon in the second division league in the Uae where he score 16 goals in 21 game.

International career[edit]

Ondo is a member of the Gabon national football team.[2] He played his debut for the Black Panthers on 7 September 2008 against Lesotho national football team.

Personal life[edit]

Mbang holds a French passport and is the brother of Loic Mbang Ondo.[3]
