Gliese 428 B (HD 99279B) is a M0-Ve class star located 35.9 light years from the Sun in the constellation of Carina.^{[citation needed]} It is found in the night sky at RA 11^h 24^m 39.484^s and declination -61° 38′ 54.31″ and has a magnitude of 8.6.
