Gliese 435

Gliese 435 (HD 101581, HIP 56998) is a K5 V e spectral class stellar object located 40.9 light years from the Sun in the constellation of Centaurus.
This star has a total proper motion of 0.703 "/yr.[1]
It is unusual in that it appears to have low levels of lithium.[2][dead link]
Gliese 435 has alternatively been given designations of HD101581, HIP 56998, CD -43° 7228, YPC 2701.00 and LHS 2441.[1]
