Gliese 726

Gliese 726 is a K5-V class star located in the night sky at Right ascension 18h 47m 27s and declination−03° 38′ 23″ in the constellation of Aquila and is moving with a total Proper Motion of 0.310 "/yr.[1]
At a distance of 46.07light Years (14.09pc) and an absolute magnitude of 8.17 this star has an apparent magnitude of 8.70 and so is not visible to the naked eye when viewed from earth. [2]
The star itself has an surface Temperature of 3500-5000 K, a luminosity of 1.81417e+25, a radial velocity of + 15.9 km/s and no known planets. Its nearest stellar neighbours are NN4056, GJ1226 and Hip 91430.
The star is also known as HD 173818, HIP-92200, BD-03 4380, SAO- 142621 and NSV 11342.
