Global Air (Mexico)

Global Air (Grupo Aerolíneas Damojh) is an airline based in Mexico City, Mexico. It operated domestic services, but ceased operations after both of its aircraft were leased out in April 2006.[1]

The ALD Air Charter Aviation Group was established in 1990 and started operations on 1 May 1991 was an airfreight operator operating Boeing 747, An-22, Il-76, TriStars, Short 330, Short Skyvan and Belfasts and also was a passenger operator flying with A320, A300, Boeing 727 and Yak-42. It had its air operators certificate briefly suspended in 2003, but the airline was reborn as a only passenger airline whit AMCI,wet lease,charters and ad hoc operator named Global Air. Global Air effectively ceased operations as an airline when its Boeing 737s were leased to Conviasa of Venezuela in April 2006. Services may resume on completion of these leases.[1]
