Glorystar
GloryStar Satellite Systems is a Direct to Home religious based satellite service. They provide ministry support services by partnering with Christian broadcasters and a vendor of satellite television equipment oriented towards viewers of satellite-delivered Christian broadcast ministries.

Glorystar Christian channels are available in North and Central America, the Caribbean and in South East Asia through the Dream DTH service. The North American Glorystar systems are programmed to receive Christian broadcasters from a Ku-band satellite Galaxy 19 (97° W).

Satellite AV, LLC, operator of the GloryStar and AdventistSat brand names, is the only FTA - Free To Air STB provider in North America to provide free manual or weekly automatic updating via satellite (OTA-SSU). This unique feature allows Glorystar viewers to have an automatically populated list of channels that are always up to date without needing to program their equipment to add or remove Christian channels. The company also provides uplink support for broadcasters using the Galaxy 19 satellite.

All channels are religious, family friendly and distributed as non-encrypted or free-to-air (FTA) allowing viewers to receive programming without a monthly fee. Check Galaxy 19 listings for channel information. Over 70 TV and Radio channels are available as of 10/1/2010.

To receive these broadcast ministries requires reception of signals from a medium-powered Ku-band satellite Galaxy 19 with a 90cm /36" dish.
Glorystar provides automatic channel and firmware updates via satellite to the GEOSATpro DVR1100c and DSR100c / 200c model receivers. New Christian channels are automatically added to the receiver's channel list.
Additional channels are also available for free with the Glorystar satellite system if the customer chooses to scan their receiver to add these channels. The above satellite location includes most ethnic channels from GlobeCast World TV.
