Glory Fall Outpouring (sometimes stylized as GloryFall) is an all-ages Christian event held annually in Manteca, California at the Place of Refuge Church. Glory Fall is run by The Pulse, a ministry of the church. The event hosts hundreds of people each year. The tagline for the event every year is "His presence is our pulse."

History[edit]

Glory Fall first began on September 3rd, 2010 as a two-day event at the Place of Refuge Church. The event was led by Refuge Church's youth pastor and worship director, Rob Cox. The first year included speakers Jurgen Matthesius from Planet Shakers, Jeremy Johnson from Ammunition Conference, and Sean Smith amongst others as well as worship music by Rick Pino, Chris Ritchie, and Aslan. Since then, speakers have included Pat Schatzline and Matt Gonzales with worship by Jake Hamilton, Amber Brooks from MorningStar Ministries, Melissa How from Jesus Culture, and Will Matthews from Bethel Church. In contrast to most other Christian outreach events, Glory Fall has focused on making admission as cheap for guests as possible, dropping the price $5 every year since the first year in 2010.

In 2013, Glory Fall branched out of California to include Texas. Glory Fall Texarkana was held on June 14th - 15th in Texarkana, TX. Speakers scheduled are Pat Schatzline, Jeremy Donovan, Joe Dawson, and Rob Cox with worship by Aslan. Aslan also plans to record a new album at Glory Fall Manteca in 2013. Speakers will include Jurgen Matthesius, Bob Sorge, Isaiah Saldivar, and Karen Schatzline. Worship will be done by The City Harmonic, Amber Brooks, David Vallier, Amber Brooks, Chris McClarney, Chris Ritchie, and BJ & Lisa Sullivan. Glory Fall 2013 will commence September 19th-21st.

Aslan[edit]

Aslan Worship is the house worship band for Place of Refuge and Glory Fall. At Glory Fall 2010, Aslan recorded their first live worship album, Collision Course: Live from Glory Fall. At Glory Fall 2011, they recorded a second live album named Let Your Worship Roar. Let Your Worship Roar was officially released in the midst of Glory Fall 2012. Aslan is planning another live album for Glory Fall 2013

Empower + Release[edit]

In Spring 2013, Glory Fall announced a sister event called Empower and Release which would emphasize prophetic leadership. Speakers included Ian Clayton, Brian Orme, and Rob Cox. Worship was led by Rick Pino and Aslan. Empower + Release commenced on April 19-21, 2013.
