Golden Moles (Amblysomus), also African Golden Moles and South African Golden Moles,[2] is a genus of mammal in the Chrysochloridae family. It contains the following species:
- Fynbos Golden Mole (Amblysomus corriae)
- Hottentot Golden Mole (Amblysomus hottentotus)
- Marley's Golden Mole (Amblysomus marleyi)
- Robust Golden Mole (Amblysomus robustus)
- Highveld Golden Mole (Amblysomus septentrionalis)
Members of the genus Amblysomus are distributed in Southern Africa. All five species are found in South Africa with some being found in Swaziland and Lesotho as well.
