GoldMic is the largest hip hop social network in the world. Besides the usual social networking features available on mainstream social networks, GoldMic's user-gen (UGC) features allow members to promote their original hip hop creations (writings, songs, beats, videos). The site also provides the largest hip hop battling platform for MCs who can battle using writings, audio, or video. GoldMic has been featured numerous times on Viacom's Vh1 as their official hip hop partner. GoldMic's influence in the hip hop world has also been publicly acknowledged by film director and actor Spike Lee.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]
