Goshainganj also known as Gosainganj (Hindi:गोशाँईगञ्ज, Urdu:گوشایںگنج) is a city and constituency in Faizabad district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Goshainganj is one of the oldest market in Faizabad district of Uttar Pradesh.

As of 2001[update] India census,[2] Goshainganj had a population of 12,622. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Goshainganj has an average literacy rate of 66%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 72%, and female literacy is 59%. In Goshainganj, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.
