Gotham Magazine is a regional magazine published by Niche Media, LLC[1] since 2001 and primarily targets New York's most affluent residents and visitors. According to a survey commissioned by the company, 56% of Gotham Magazine readers are male, with 51% married, and some two-thirds within the age group of 36 and 60 years old. Gotham is a sister publication to Hamptons Magazine, sharing advertising and production.
According to its mission statement, Gotham Magazine "covers the best that New York City has to offer in the worlds of art, beauty, business, culture, dining, entertainment, fashion, interior design, jewelry and watches, nightlife, philanthropy, politics, real estate, sports, and travel, plus, of course, the inside scoop on gossip, society, and the metropolitan area's social scene." It also features local trendsetters as guest columnists. Its annual "The List" issue is one of its most popular and chronicles the "best of the best" in New York from restaurants to shopping and technology.[2]
Published eleven times a year, inclusive of a yearbook, it has a circulation of 70,000 copies, distributed all over Manhattan.
