According to its mission statement, Gotham Magazine "covers the best that New York City has to offer in the worlds of art, beauty, business, culture, dining, entertainment, fashion, interior design, jewelry and watches, nightlife, philanthropy, politics, real estate, sports, and travel, plus, of course, the inside scoop on gossip, society, and the metropolitan area's social scene." It also features local trendsetters as guest columnists. Its annual "The List" issue is one of its most popular and chronicles the "best of the best" in New York from restaurants to shopping and technology.[2]
