Graham Allcott, FRSA, is a former CEO of Student Volunteering England, co-founder of the international volunteering charity InterVol and is currently a productivity consultant at his company, Think Productive.[1] Graham also runs Fruitful Consulting,[2] a social enterprise offering training and consultancy to the UK voluntary sector.
Between 2004 - 2007 he was the Chief Executive of Student Volunteering England,[3] a charity that supported student community action and volunteering projects in England, it has since been merged into Volunteering England. Between 2001 - 2004 Graham led the establishment of the University of Birmingham's Involve (volunteering) and InterVol (international volunteering) projects; InterVol is now a registered charity in the United Kingdom and has raised over £100,000 for grass-roots organisations in developing countries over the past eight years.[4]
Graham was also the first chair of the board of trustees of READ International, a recycling charity sending educational text books to Tanzania (where he remains a trustee) and he is also a board member at Centrepoint,[5] the UK's largest charity for homeless young people and The Choir With No Name.[6]
Graham is a regular blogger about productivity, through his Think Productive Love Your Work Blog[7] and he regularly contributes to other publications.[8][9] In November 2010 he was invited to provide a guest article for Virgin's celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week[10] and in April 2011 he was interviewed for The Guardian about time management and productivity.[11]
