The Grammy Award for Best Country Performance, Duo or Group — Vocal or Instrumental was awarded in 1969. The equivalent award of Best Country & Western Performance Duet, Trio or Group (Vocal or Instrumental) was presented in 1968. Since 1970 the award has been divided into instrumental and vocal awards.
