Great News is an upcoming American sitcom television series created and written by Tracey Wigfield (her first series as a creator and producer[1]), and co-executed produced with Tina Fey, Robert Carlock, and David Miner for 3 Arts Entertainment, Little Stranger and Universal Television. The series is scheduled to debut as a midseason entry on NBC during the 2016-17 television season.[2]

Plot

The series, set in the world of television news, follows an up-and-coming news producer who finds herself dealing with a new intern: her mother.
