The Young Greens of Sweden (Swedish: Grön Ungdom, GU) is the youth wing of the Swedish Green Party (Swedish: Miljöpartiet de Gröna). GU does not have a program of its own, and is unique among Swedish political youth organizations by following the program and policies of the mother party.[4]

GU was founded at a conference in Sollentunaholms Slott outside Stockholm, 28–30 November 1986.[5]

During the period of 1990-1992 GU was a federation of autonomous local units, but in 1992 it was again reconstructed as a national organisation.

GU publishes Avtryck.
