Ground-pine
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ground-pine is the common name given to at least three different species of plant. Most frequently it is applied to one of the clubmosses;
- Lycopodium obscurum but sometimes also to
- Lycopodium complanatum.
- The name is also used for Ajuga chamaepitys or yellow bugle, a small shrub which at some stages of its growth resembles pine seedlings and also smells somewhat similar when the leaves are crushed.
