Guyra Shire is the name of the Local Government Area for the New England region of New South Wales, Australia. It is on the New England Highway.

The Shire includes the town of Guyra and villages including Ben Lomond, Black Mountain, Ebor, Llangothlin and Tingha.

Guyra Shire Council is composed of six councillors elected proportionally. The shire is divided into three wards, each electing two councillors. The mayor is not directly elected.[5] The current makeup of the council is as follows:[5]
