H&C Coffee is a brand of coffee originally produced by the Woods Brother’s Coffee Company in Roanoke, Virginia. The brand is now owned and produced by Quality Coffee Company.[1] The product is well-known for being featured in a brightly-lit neon sign placed prominently in downtown Roanoke. This sign is classified as a historical landmark. This sign has been a staple in downtown Roanoke since the late 1940s [2]
[edit] Sign Relighting
After being dark for more than a decade, the sign was re-lit and placed atop the Shenandoah Hotel in November 2005. The restoration project cost nearly $150,000.[3]
