HMS Star was a Star-class destroyer of the three-funnelled "C" type. She was launched by Palmers in 1896, served during the Great War and, together with HMS Ouse, sank German U-boat UB-115 on 29 September 1918. She was broken up after the end of hostilities in 1919.
