[edit] Biography
In 1990, the band was formed by the name "Hoten Toten" by Svatopluk Vladar (Vocals and Guitar), Martin Cybo (Bass) and Marcel Randa (Drums). Soon after, they recorded two demos titled "Smetny Kos" and "Obete Systemu". In 1993, they shortened their name to "HT", which has been named that way ever since. Two other demos, "Mentalna Samovrazda" and "Harmonia Zla", were recorded afterwards. The period between 1994 and 1996 was very productive for all of the band's members. They were all making various projects, such as `P&CHG psychotronic&chaos group` and "Coexist". Another demo, "Nepriatel", was also recorded during this period.
In 1996, a collection of songs from their demos, was recorded on their first full-length album, "Predstieranie Stastia". This CD was released later in 1997. During that same year, their second full-length album was released, titled "Hotentot`n`roll". It contained new songs.
In 1998, the unplugged concert was recorded, although it was never released officially, it was available as a bootleg. After this event, the band took a 4 year long break during which Svetos' trip-hop project `Zatmenie` was released. After this period, to the great surprise of all fans, they began playing gigs again, joined by a new guitarist named Freedom. Shortly afterwards, another guitarist, Truba of 'Dead Horses' joined the band. Afterwards, the band started recording new songs.
In 2004, the controversial album, Plan B, was released. It combined punk and rock elements, with rapping. It was not accepted by all fans, but was followed by a long series of shows throughout Slovakia and the Czech Republic. After the release of Plan B, Freedom left the band. The band is currently working on new material.
