Haʾil (Arabic: حائل Ḥāʾil) is a province of Saudi Arabia, located in the north of the country. It has an area of 103,887 km² and a population of 527,033 (2004) census). Its capital is Haʾil. It is subdivided into four governorates: (with population):
- Baqa 38,778
- Al-Ghazalah 94,670
- Ha'il 356,876
- As-Shinan 36,709
The province's current governor is Prince Saud bin Abdul-Muhsin.[1] Prince Mishaal was the former governor of Ha'il Province from 1980 to 1999.
