Hachirōgata (八郎潟町 Hachirōgata-machi) is a town located in Minamiakita District, Akita, Japan.
As of 2011, the town has an estimated population of 6,540 and a density of 385 persons per km². The total area is 17.03 km².
It was named after Lake Hachirōgata which lies in the west of the town.
