Hajij (Kurdish: هه جيج/Hecîc; Persian: هجيج) is a village located in Kurdistan province of Iran.
The village is in a district called "Howraman" which lies through the mountains of Shaho. The language spoken by the native people is a variant of Kurdish. The village has an archaic Koran which is holy for Kurdish people and many tourists visit it every summer.[citation needed]
