Hamilton Literacy Council

Hamilton Literacy Council, is a non-profit organization that provides basic (grade 1 - 5 equivalent) training in reading, writing, and math to English-speaking adults in Hamilton, Ontario. The service is free, private, and one-to-one. Hamilton Literacy Council have been assisting adults with their literacy skills since 1973.

Hamilton Literacy Council train volunteers to provide one-to-one tutoring to adults aged 19 and over. The council also runs four small group classes three times a week.

The mission of Hamilton Literacy Council is Hamilton Reads!
