The Waikato Times is a daily broadsheet newspaper published in Hamilton, New Zealand, with a circulation to the greater Waikato region.

The Waikato Times started out as the tri-weekly Waikato Times and Thames Valley Gazette, first published on 2 May 1872.[1] The paper was first published in Ngaruawahia but moved to Hamilton in 1875.

The Times has a daily circulation of 41,000 copies.[2] Allan Hawkey produces opinion cartoons for the newspaper.[citation needed]

The paper has an official Facebook page[3] and a Twitter feed.[4]

The Hamilton Press is a weekly newspaper, delivered on Wednesdays, in the city of Hamilton.[5] It is free to Hamilton residents, and is delivered without prior arrangement to all Hamilton mailboxes.
