Coordinates: 70°27′N 24°17′E / 70.45°N 24.283°E Hammerfest and Kvalsund golf club has built the world’s second most northerly golf course (after Ulukhaktok, Northwest Territories, Canada), in Repparfjord, Kvalsund, just 7 km from Skaidi and 50 km from Hammerfest, by road no. RV 94.

Repparfjord golf course is in idyllic countryside at the mouth of the Repparfjord river and so far has 6 holes (20 par). The golfing season usually lasts from mid-May to mid-October. From May to early August, one can play golf 24 hours a day, or for as long as it is light.
