The Hampton Pirates and Lady Pirates refer to the 14 sports teams representing Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia in intercollegiate athletics, including men and women's basketball, cross country, golf, tennis, and track; women's sports include bowling, softball, and volleyball; the only men's sport is football. The Pirates and Lady Pirates compete in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) and are members of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.[1]
