The Harbour Mille incident was the reported sightings of multiple unidentified flying objects during the night of January 25, 2010, near Harbour Mille, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

During the night of January 25, 2010, at least three unidentified flying objects flew over Harbour Mille. Witnesses reported that the objects flew through the air minutes apart and that they made no noise.[1] A resident managed to take a photograph of one of the UFOs, which revealed it resembled a missile with fire coming out of the end of it. According to witnesses, the UFO appeared to come out of the nearby Atlantic Ocean.[2]

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police began an investigation into the incident the following day[2] along with Harbour Mille's police force.[1] The police can confirm that the UFO is something, though they have not yet revealed what their investigation revealed. The Department of National Defence gave the police some information for the investigation, though it is up to that department to release that information publicly.

Some residents were told by officers investigating the incident that the UFOs were test missiles launched from the nearby French islands of St. Pierre and Miquelon. France's Ministry of Defence stated that they fired a missile on January 27, two days after the UFO sightings, from the Bay of Audierne in northwestern France.[1][3]

On January 28, the Office of the Prime Minister stated that the UFOs were not missiles as there is no evidence of anyone firing missiles at the time the UFOs were spotted. A spokesman for the Canadian Forces said they had not conducted any missile exercises nearby Harbour Mille.[4]
