Harishchandrapur II (community development block) is an administrative division in Chanchal subdivision of Malda district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Harishchandrpur police station serves this block. Headquarters of this block is at Barduari.[1]

As per 2001 census, Harishchandrapur II block has a total population of 198,127 out of which 102,075 were males and 96,052 were females. Harishchandrapur II block registered a population growth of 26.13 per cent during the 1991-2001 decade.[4] Decadal growth in West Bengal was 17.84 per cent.[5]
