Harris Tweed was a character in the comic strip Harris Tweed, Special Agent, later retitled as Harris Tweed - Super Sleuth, which appeared in The Eagle. The strip was drawn by John Ryan
Tweed was a monocled, rotund, bumbling secret agent who, along with his far more capable boy side-kick, simply known as Boy, managed to get into all manner of scrapes, somehow always managing to make good in the end.
