[edit] Boundaries
Traditionally a better area for the Labour Party than neighbouring Harrow West, the seat has still been mostly Conservative since the Second World War, but Labour did win here in landslide victories in 1945 and 1966. They won here again in 1997, and held on in the two subsequent general elections. In 2010 the seat was regained by the Conservatives on a high turnout.
The constituency now comprises the following nine wards:
Belmont; Canons; Edgware; Harrow Weald; Kenton East; Kenton West; Queensbury; Stanmore Park; Wealdstone.
