Headquarters Company 348th Brigade Support Battalion was constituted 1 September 2009 in the Georgia Army National Guard as the 348th Support Battalion, organized 3 June 2010 from new and existing elements, with headquarters at Cumming, Georgia.

Mission[edit]

The 348th Brigade Support Battalion mission is to support the 648th MEB with manned, ready, and fully equipped mission-capable units to combatant and joint task force commanders, with the capabilities of full-spectrum operations and consequence management to support the war-fight and homeland defense, as well as to provide defense support to civilian authorities in times of crisis.
