Heathrow was a small hamlet of Middlesex on the outskirts of London, that was demolished for construction of London Heathrow Airport in 1945. The hamlet was situated a mile and a half east of Longford, in an area that is now part of the London Borough of Hillingdon.

Heathrow was mentioned in the Domesday Book.[1] The hamlet's name was previously Hithero, Hetherow, Hetherowfeyld, Hitherowe, and Heath Row, and came from Anglo-Saxon Hǣþrǣw = "row of houses on a heath".

The main industry in the hamlet was agriculture, and many of the residents grew fruit, vegetables, and flowers.[1]
