Hedford Vachal is an electronic act that hail from Portland, Oregon. They formed using this moniker in 2007. The duo previously worked together as Ash Street Dealers.

[edit] About the band
Hedford Vachal are the musical duo of Eric Hedford and Brad Vachal. Their music is characterized by vintage synths and live bass. Studio musicians for the duo have included Portland musicians Brian Davis of Pink Martini and Scott Pemberton. Brad and Eric have been DJs in the Portland area since the late 80's. They now DJ frequently at Eric's night Soul Stew at the Goodfoot in Portland, playing soul music, funk, disco, rock, and hip hop.
Eric was a founding member of the rock band The Dandy Warhols, playing drums before leaving in 1998. The pair remixed The Dandy Warhols single "Not If You Were the Last Junkie on Earth" under the name Rock Snobs.
Hedford Vachal signed to Tirk Records in February 2008. Their first single for Tirk was released in July 2008.
