Helicobacter cinaedi is a bacterium in the Helicobacteraceae family, Campylobacterales order. It was formerly known as Campylobacter cinaedi until molecular analysis in 1991 led to a major revision of the Campylobacter genus.[1] H. cinaedi can cause cellulitis and bacteremia in immunocompromised people.[2]

This species has the ability to dart around using a single polar flagella. The cells are spiral rod-shaped.[3]
