Helobiae is a botanical name, and is no longer valid. It was used in the Engler and Wettsteins systems of plant taxonomy for an order of flowering plants; in the latter system it had this circumscription:
- order Helobiae
- family Alismataceae
- family Butomaceae
- family Hydrocharitaceae
- family Scheuchzeriaceae
- family Aponogetonaceae
- family Potamogetonaceae
- family Najadaceae
The Cronquist system placed quite a few of the plants involved in order Alismatales, as does the APG II system, although it assumes a much expanded circumscription of the order.
