Heraklion Student Wireless Network (abbreviated HSWN, or ΑΦΔΗ from Ασύρματο Φοιτητικό Δίκτυο Ηρακλείου) is a city-wide, non-profit wireless community network in Heraklion, Crete. It is run and maintained by the users of the network, who at the beginning of the network's existence were exclusively members of the academic community of the University of Crete. Now the network is open to everybody that wishes to connect to it, but retains its original name for legacy purposes. It serves 160 people, covering the main area of the city of Heraklion, and some suburbs.
