Arkansas Highway 12 is a state highway of 60.6 miles (97.5 km) in Northwest Arkansas.[1][2] It is a mostly 2-lane, east-west highway.
[edit] Route description
AR 12 begins at the Oklahoma state line at SH-116. The route runs east, crossing AR 43 before entering Gentry. AR 12 meets AR 59 and AR 264 before exiting Gentry headed east in a concurrency with AR 264. The route passes through Springtown and Highfill before leaving AR 264 near the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport.
AR 12 angles north to Vaughn before meeting AR 112 and US 71 BUS/AR 72 near the Bentonville Municipal Airport. AR 12 runs with US 71B to cross the Fulbright Expressway (I-540/US 62/US 71) entering Rogers.
The route crosses AR 94 in Rogers, also meeting US 62 BUS/AR 265. After this junction, AR 12 becomes a winding 2-lane road with several steep grades and hairpin curves around Beaver Lake. The route meets AR 303 near War Eagle and AR 127 near Clifty, when the route terminates at AR 23.
