Hiji (日出町 Hiji-machi) is a town located in Hayami District, Ōita, Japan.
As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 26,872 and the density of 366.95 persons per km². The total area is 73.23 km².
The town has a trappist monastery.
It is also the home of Sanrio's Harmonyland theme park.
