Hilliard Memorial Middle School is one of three middle schools in Hilliard, Ohio, and is a part of the Hilliard City School District. The principal of the middle school is Mr. Barry Bay. The school's mascot is the jaguar, and this middle school will eventually feed into the school district's third high school, Hilliard Bradley High School. Memorial Middle School shares the middle school population with Hilliard Weaver Middle School and Hilliard Heritage Middle School.

Memorial Middle School is headed by its principal, Mr. Barry Bay and its assistant principal, Mr. Sam Disalvo.[1] The school has two guidance counselors, one for the seventh grade and one for the eighth grade.[1]

[edit] Seventh grade
Students are required to take one credit of language arts; one credit of math, which may be in Math 7, Advanced Math 7, or Algebra 1 (a high school credit); one credit in science; one credit in social studies; one credit in health and physical education; and one credit in unified arts, consisting of four courses: art, home economics, industrial technology, and math fundamentals.[1]
Students may choose to take elective courses to complete a final credit. The options for seventh graders are all in music, and consist of band, choir, and orchestra.

Eighth grade students are required to take one credit of language arts; one credit of math, which may be in Math 8, Algebra 1 or Geometry (the latter two being high school credits); one credit of science; one credit of social studies; and one half-credit in physical education. Their remaining half-credit may be taken in art, home economics, industrial technology, or foreign language survey.[1]
During their elective period, eighth grade students may choose a music credit or a foreign language credit. The music options are choir, band, and orchestra. Foreign language options, which count as a high school credit, include Spanish, French, and German.[1]

The seventh and eighth grade students are separated into teams. The three seventh grade teams are Jaguar Team, Memorial Team, and Paw Team. The three eighth grade teams are Blue Team, Silver team, and Black team.
