Historic Sites of South Korea

The Cultural Heritage Administration of Korea, part of the government of South Korea, designates Historic Sites as "places and facilities of great historic and academic values that are specially commemorable".[1] The first such 112 properties were designated in 1963, and as of 2013 the list has grown to 485.
