The Cabinet of Sweden is the chief executive body of the Kingdom of Sweden. Each appointment of a Prime Minister by the Parliament of Sweden is considered to result in a new cabinet, irrespective if the Prime Minister is reappointed or not. However, the cabinet does not automatically resign following a parliamentary election, so an election does not always result in a new cabinet.
