Hoërskool Waterkloof is an Afrikaans high school situated in the wealthy eastern suburbs of Pretoria, South Africa. It had grown to become the largest Afrikaans school in the world by 2004, with 2,200 pupils and 140 teachers. It is also one of the top schools in Pretoria and has been awarded school of the year for two years running. It has had a 100% passing rate for the 19th time. Waterkloof is one of the most prestigious schools in South Africa.

The school opened on January 9, 1979, with 12 teachers, two typists and 215 pupils. The original school buildings were completed on August 3, 1979. The school motto, "Ons bou in geloof" (We build/grow in faith), was formally accepted on July 2, 1979.
