Home Radio follows an easy listening program format. Soft adult contemporary music makes up the majority of songs in the master playlist of this fully automated radio station. This format was introduced to Home Radio by Nestor Doria, the FM Network Program Director, in 2000. This format was an immediate success, increasing Home Radio's ratings and earning the title "#1 Easy Listening Station" in Metro Manila in a matter of six months. This format was then implemented by the provincial stations

Being fully automated, Home Radio has no disc-jockeys, only canned spiels and liners. This includes time checks, song sponsorships and other announcements. Home Radio projects a female image voiced by Lannie Chan. Home Radio Iloilo delivers live hourly news updates from newscaster Andie.

Frederick Billano, also known as Rickspade, is the Production Specialist and male voice-over of Home Radio. Ronnel Estanislao is the Music Librarian.

  • Home Radio VHS "Variety Hits Sunday" - Every Sunday, Home Radio deviates from the regular Monday to Saturday easy listening image and broadcasts material developed by Nestor G. Doria and Frederick S. Billano. Compared to its regular Monday to Saturday programming, Variety Hits Sunday caters to a wider audiences and plays a wide range of musical genres. Music categories include Gold Standards, Disco, New Wave, Techno, Rock and Alternative. Aside from its more upbeat music, Home Radio VHS projects a male image on Home Radio VHS, complemented with locally produced Radio Id's backed by TM Century Jingles.

The station first broadcast as Q-89 the next big thing way back in November 1993. Playing the latest up-scale music. In the July 1994, they introduce Student Jocks as trainee. Every Sunday Students take the board work of regular DJs and make their own creativity work their style. In January 1995, all Student Jocks end their program and graduate and make their own destiny in radio business and at the same time change name to Q89 the station who cares. In around 1999, the station changed their name again to Home Radio Q89 they change their music format to masa or low class music. But by 2000 Metro Manila's Home Radio changed their music format to easy listening. In a matter of six month of easy listening music format it made good impression in the listeners. They immediately implemented to all their provincial station.
