Humnabad (Kannada: ಹುಮ್ನಾಬಾದ್,) is a town in Bidar district in the Indian state of Karnataka. The town is also the headquarters of Humnabad Taluk. Humnabad is connected by two national highways NH 9 and State Highway SH 218.
Humnabad is known for Veerabhadreshwar Temple & Manik Nagar. Veteran politicians like M P Ramchandra Veerappa and Basavaraj Patil are from this place.

Humnabad is located at 17°46′N 77°08′E / 17.77°N 77.13°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 638 metres (2093 feet).

As of 2001[update] India census,[2] Humnabad had a population of 36,511. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Homnabad has an average literacy rate of 64%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 71%, and female literacy is 55%. In Homnabad, 16% of the population is under 6 years of age. Kannada is the most widely spoken languages of the region.Marathi and Telugu is also spoken here.
