The Hospice Association of Ontario (HAO) provides end-of-life care to terminal patients in the province of Ontario, Canada. It was founded in 1989 with eight members; as of April, 2005, it had over 150 member hospice facilities.

The association is primarily based on volunteer efforts; in more than 400 communities throughout Ontario, over 13,000 volunteers have provided 630,000 hours of service to hospices under the auspice of HAO.

The Hospice Association of Ontario and the Ontario Palliative Care Association are now one organization called Hospice Palliative Care Ontario.
